Major Achievements -

As per needs of the time, in spite of limited resources, Gwalior Childrens Hospital provided medical relief suplies, water, gloves, masks etc. as well sent its mobile hospital with staff and volunteers to provide medical care and counselling services for three months benefitting 18000 people there.


100% of funds received are used to provide for the work of charity to benefit people. All administrative expenses are met by trustees themselves. In addition they give their time and efforts without any costs.

"The Orphanage-Snehalaya" meaning home with love including school, health centre and vocational training centre with physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities, will open its doors to accept disabled and destitute children in Nov. 05 with aims to give them a life with love and happiness and make them independent enabling them to lead a life with self esteem and dignity.

Gwalior mobile hospital, a real hospital on wheels works to provide virtual hospital services including health education, vaccination, to create health awareness, investigations, treatment, operations etc. at the door steps to the poor people in slums and rural areas.

In last six years since hospital became operational in Oct. 1998, till Nov. 04, 223249 people have been benefited through hospital facilities with vaccinations, investigations, treatment, operations saving many lives. 437 blind got sight through eye centre. 984 children are supported for their education and health care in schools and orphanages.

A hospice for children with HIV has been initiated when no place could be found to live for a child with HIV.

Now Orphanage-Snehalaya is being built and plans to bring up stroke centre with physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities are in progress. More than 400 volunteers from 15 countries have participated by providing their expert services to the community as well helped the charity by their contributions and by fund raising.
